El iPhone

The iPhone is sold out in Spain until September at the earliest, I’m told. There haven’t been any sightings since release day. I thought it was just Valencia sold out, but even Madrid is hit. Not that I would have gone there just to buy one though. Ahem.

Apart from wanting one anyway, I have a couple of good ideas for apps. Dartmaps for iPhone anyone?

If only I knew someone who worked in a phone shop; that’s how things get done here. Instead, I’ll just have to cycle around the city put my name on as many waiting lists as possible.

Is that why you don’t have any friends in phone shops?

I once punched a Carphone Warehouse sales assistant for saying “Noe-kia”. It was the only reasonable thing to do.
